    FAQ – Via Nova

    For Consumers

That mainly depends on the flavour profile you prefer.
Foundation City Roast is balanced, smooth and approachable, with notes of chocolate and nuts.

Foundation Full City Roast is fuller and more intense, with greater emphasis on body, warmth and depth.

Elevation Bright City Roast is livelier and fruitier, with fresh and refined acidity.
Elevation Silk City Roast is smooth, elegant and complex, with notes of yellow fruit, peach and pineapple and a creamy body.

You can find a more detailed description of each flavour profile on the individual product pages.

Foundation is our approachable and balanced range, created for a recognisable coffee experience that works beautifully every day.

Elevation consists of more expressive coffees with greater complexity and a more refined flavour profile. Bright is fruitier and more vibrant, while Silk is smoother, creamier and more complex.

No. Via Nova sells whole roasted coffee beans only. This helps preserve aroma and flavour for as long as possible and allows you to adjust the grind to your preferred brewing method.

Our coffees are carefully selected in Brazil. We select them for quality, flavour profile, character and consistency.

City Roast is a roasting style that preserves more of the coffee bean’s original character. This allows natural sweetness, fruity notes and refined aromas to remain more noticeable in the cup.

Full City Roast is a slightly deeper roast. It creates more body, intensity and warmth, with greater emphasis on classic flavours such as chocolate and nuts.

A microlot is a relatively small, separately selected lot of coffee from a specific harvest, location or processing method. This allows distinctive flavour characteristics to come through more clearly.

Via Nova Elevation Silk comes from a carefully selected microlot.

Our coffees can be used with a variety of brewing methods. On each product page, we indicate the methods for which we particularly recommend that coffee.

Our Foundation coffees are especially well suited to espresso and milk-based drinks. Bright and Silk also perform beautifully as americano or filter coffee.

As a general guideline, you can use approximately 9 grams for a single espresso and approximately 15 grams for a double espresso.

The exact amount depends on your coffee machine, grind setting and personal preference.

Our regular coffees are available in 500 gram and 1 kilogram bags.

Keep your coffee in its original, properly sealed packaging in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight.

We recommend not storing coffee in the refrigerator. Changes in temperature and moisture can affect both flavour and quality.

With a one-time purchase, you simply order the coffee you need at that moment.
With a subscription, fresh coffee is delivered automatically at regular intervals. You benefit from subscription advantages and do not need to place a new order each time.

Yes. You can adjust your subscription if your coffee consumption changes, for example by changing the quantity or selected product.

The exact options for pausing, changing and cancelling your subscription will be shown in your account.

Our website helps you determine the right amount based on the number of coffee drinkers and the average number of cups consumed per day.

We use an average amount of coffee per cup to help you choose a subscription that matches your actual usage.

Orders are processed and dispatched from our fulfilment locations.

The final cut-off time for same-day dispatch and the expected delivery times will be shown on the website once these have been confirmed for each country.

Via Nova currently delivers to the Netherlands, Belgium and the United Kingdom.
We are gradually expanding our delivery area and expect to add additional European countries soon.

Shipping costs depend on the delivery country and the value of your order.

The current shipping charge will always be shown during checkout before you complete your purchase.

Returns are subject to our return policy. Because coffee is a food product, different conditions apply to opened and unopened packages.

You can find further information in our return policy.

Please contact our customer service team as soon as possible and include your order number.

If possible, also include photographs of the packaging and the products received. We will then work with you to find an appropriate solution.
